Workshop: An Introduction to the Alchemical Journey

The ancient spiritual tradition of Alchemy provides unique insights into the inner workings of both the human being and Nature. Veiled for centuries in cryptic language and obscure imagery, alchemy can reveal the path that leads to the harmonious integration of all aspects of human experience. In this two-hour talk we will embark on a journey towards self-transformation and self-discovery.

Topics covered will include:

• The language of alchemy and its symbolic power;

• Some underlying principles of hermetic alchemy;

• The Tria Prima (Sulphur, Mercury and Salt), the Seven metals-planets and the Four Elements;

• The alchemical processes;

• The alchemical practice.
